First one---Here they are. 给您。
本句中的they 指passports. 在前面我们曾经出现过“here it is.”的说法。两句话翻译成中文都是“给你。” 但是“here they are.” 表示你递给别人的东西多与一件，是一个复数的概念。
The second one---Are these your cases? No, they aren’t. “These” 是“this”的复数，表示这些。
The third one--- Are you tourists? Yes,we are. “tourists”是“tourist”的复数，如果我们想说“你是旅游者吗” 我们就要说“Are you a tourist?”
The fourth one---我们看到了，我们we, 你们you, 他们they, 和他们相连的be动词都是are. 还请注意 aren’t 是 are not 的缩写形式。
第四部分 我们来总结一下本课当中出现的基本句型， 来看看可数名词怎样变成复数形式，如何来问“你们是什么什么吗？”，“这些是什么什么吗？”
First one---名词的复数形式
英语中可数名词有单数和复数两种形式，指一个以上的事物时用复数形式。可数名词的复数形式一般是在单数名词后面加上-s, 如课文中的
Friend---friends/friendz tourist---tourists/ ′tu+rists case---cases/′keisiz 请注意-s的不同发音。
假如名词是以-s 结尾的，变成复数时则要加-es,
如dress-dresses/′dresiz blouse- blouses/′blauziz.
The second one---Are you ...你们是什么什么吗？ 这个后面可以加上形容词，也可以加上复数名词。For example: Are you French（形容词)? No, we aren’t. We are German (形容词）. Are you tourists(复数名词）? Yes, we are.
The third one---Are these your....这些是你的什么什么吗？ What’s color are your....你们的什么什么是什么颜色的？来看两组例句:
Are these your cases? Yes, they are. What color are your cases? They are brown.
