The Story of 2 frogs

The Story of 2 frogs A group of frogs was traveling through the woods when two of them fell into a deep pit. When the other frogs crowded around the pit and saw how deep it was, they told the two frogs that there was no hope left for them. However, the two frogs decided to ignore what the others were saying, and they proceeded to try and jump out of the pit. Despite their efforts, the group of frogs at the top of the pit were still saying that they should just give up, that they would never make it out. Eventually, one of the frogs took heed to what the others were saying and he gave up, falling down to his death. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. He jumped even harder, finally, with one last jump, he made it out. The other frogs wanted to know how he did it, how he managed to get out. It turned out, the Frog was deaf and thought they were encouraging him the entire time. Be deaf when people tell you that you can’t do something. Some will always try to bring you down just because they can’t do it. You just need to stay positive, remember your dreams, and be confident. You will make it. 【参考译文】 一群青蛙穿越丛林时，其中两只不小心掉进了一个深坑里。其它青蛙围在坑边，当它们看到坑有多深时，它们告诉这两只青蛙，它们没有希望了。 然而，这两只青蛙决定不理会其它青蛙在说什么，然后他们开始试着从坑里跳出来。尽管他们很努力，坑顶的青蛙们仍在说着它们应该放弃，它们永远不会成功的话。   终于，其中一只青蛙意识到上面的青蛙在说什么，它开始松懈，从高处摔落而亡。而另一只青蛙继续拼命地跳。又一次，那群青蛙冲着它大喊，让它停止疼痛挣扎，坦然接受死亡。然而它跳得更用力了，最后，最后一跳，它成功了。   上面的青蛙想明白它是怎么做到的，它是怎样设法跳出来的。原来，这只青蛙聋了，它以为上面的青蛙一直在鼓励它。 当别人跟你说你做不到时，你要充耳不闻。有些人总是给你带来失望，只是因为他们做不到而已。你只需要保持乐观态度，记住你的梦想，充满信心。   你总会成功。
