3-14 Poochie the Poodle

3-14 Poochie the Poodle Suzie had poodle. His name was Poochie. He had lots curly hair. Suzie played with Poochie every day. One day Poochie didn't want to play. "What's wrong?" asked Suzie. "He's too hot. He needs a haircut!" said Suzie's mother. Poochie wagged his tail. They took Poochie to have a haircut. Later, they went back to get Poochie. He looked different! "Is that really you, Poochie?" Suzie laughed. Poochie wagged his tail. On the way home, Suzie and her mother met some friends. "Do you have a new dog?" they asked. "No, it's Poochie. He's had a haircut!" said Suzie. Suzie and Poochie played all afternoon. Poochie didn't get too hot, but Suzie did! "I think you need a haircut, too." said Suzie's mother. "Yes," said Suzie. "But I didn't want a haircut like Poochie's!"
