ALBUM INTRODUCTION
Inspired by the words of St. John Paul II “a new missionary age will arise, a new springtime for the Church” a group of young people in the Archdiocese of Jakarta started a year-long movement called Jakarta Renovation 2006: The New Springtime. Renovation stands for Revival Novena for the Arising Generation. The movement included youth prayer rallies, talks, and massive recruitment of young people to support missionary works of the Church. Each rally was attended by 1000-1500 youths, and the last one was attended by more than 4,000 youths from various cities in Indonesia and the neighbouring countries. There were many beautiful songs written for this movement by many great song writers and musicians, but this album consists of songs which were written only by Yurika Agustina, Lia Brasali, and Riko Ariefano, taken from The New Springtime album, and remastered by Antonius Sulistyo.
