Where do feelings come from?
“Feelings start in our brains and also exist in our bodies,” says Ekta Hattangady, who is a counsellor (someone who helps people with their problems through talking). Hattangady explains how different feelings exist in the body. “When we are happy or find something funny, we smile. When someone jumps and surprises us, our throat or chest might feel tight. When we are scared, our breathing might become shallow,” she says.
