The UN's sixth Global Environment Outlook report highlights the actions needed in a globalscale to reverse the situation. These include reducing landdegradation, limiting pollution, improving water management, and mitigating climate change. Joyce Msuya, Acting Executive Director of UN Environment, said in a statement, "The science is clear. The health and prosperity of humanity is directly tied with the state of our environment."
