一般过去时
1在确定的过去时间里所发生的动作或存在的状态
1）由yesterday或者由yesterday构成短语的短语yesterday morning/afternoon
Eg:你昨天去哪了？ Where did you go yesterday？
2）由last+时间名词 如last week/night
Eg: 上个月我收到两封家信 I received two letters from my home last month
3）时间段+ago 如 a moment/ an hour ago
Eg：她两个小时前离开了 He left two hours ago
4）介词+名词 in 1949 ，on April,
Eg: 毛主席于1976年去世 President Mao died in 1976
5）其他词组 then，just now
Eg：当时这些科学家住在中国 Then the scientists lived in China
2.表示在过去一段时间内，经常性或习惯性的动作
Eg:当我是小孩的时候，我经擦在街上踢足球
When i was a child，i often played football in the street
Eg：访问期间，无论Browns去哪，他都受了到热烈的欢迎
Wherever the Browns went during their visit，he was always given a warm welcome
3.句型
It is time for sb to do sth 到...时间了，该...了
It is time sb did sth 时间已迟了，早该...了.
Eg：你早该睡觉了 it is time you went to bed
Would （had）rather sb did sth :宁愿某人做某事
