时态（Tense）
一般现在时(Simple Present Tense）
1）表示经常发生的动作，或状态，常与表示频率的时间状语连用
时间状语：Every...，sometimes/often，at...，on Sunday 等
Eg：我每天早上7点离开家去学校 I leave home for school at 7 every morning
Eg：小学上课时间一般早上是九点到下午五点 Primary school usually starts at 9 o'clock
and finishes at 5 o'clock
2）客观真理，客观存在，科学事实.
Eg：地球围绕太阳转 The earth moves/revolves/travels around the sun
Eg：上海位于中国的东部 Shanghai lies/is located in the east of China.
3.表示格言或警句
Eg：早起的鸟儿有虫吃 The early bird catches/gets the worm.
注意：此用法如果出现在宾语从句中，即使主句是过去时，从句也要用一般现在时
Eg:哥伦布证明了地球是圆的 Columbus proved that the earth is round
4.描述此刻的状态，能力，性格，个性
Eg：他不仅英语说得好，唱歌也好 He is not only good at speaking English，but also singing.
Eg：他很随和，喜交朋友 he is easygoing and enjoying making friends.
