calf 腓（小腿） What part of the body is called calf？It is the flash back part of the leg between the knee and the ankle. The muscles in your calves may be sore after climbing, running or walking for a long time. Athletes often loosen the muscles in their calves by pressing and rubbing them. Most people wear socks which cover the ankle and the lower part of the leg. But some people ，especially football players in a match， wear socks which cover the calf.
