Big ben is perhaps the most famous clock in the world. It is in the tower at the eastern end of the houses of parliament in London, England. It is famous for its accuracy and for its 13-ton bell.
Some countries officially change the time at the beginning of summer and winter. In the united states they set the clock ahead an hour every April. In Italy, they put the clock back two hours every October.
When one has to finish a difficult job within a short time，one may have to work around the clock. Some shops are open all day and all night for 24 hours. We may say they give round-the-clock service.
大本钟也许是全世界最有名的钟了，它放在英国伦敦议会大厦东端的塔楼上。它因为准确和有13吨重的鸣钟而出名。
有些国家，正式规定在夏天和冬天开始的时候更改时间。在美国每年4月把钟调快一个小时。在意大利每逢10月将钟调慢两个小时。
