1. My reason for being here today is not because I'm an actor and I'm coming up from Hollywood trying to put up some agenda. My reason for being here is, I grew upin the Bay Area. I was born in the Bay Area. I went to school in Oakland. My aunt had a bakery down on Webster street, so I knowOakland Chinatown really well. And so when I started to see these crimes happening in Chinatown, I was appalled. 2. My dad is 91 years old and to think about something like that happening to my father is just unimaginable. To see it happen to members of our community, to thepeople of Chinatown, to the Asians in the community is appalling and it needs to be denounced. 3. We’re being smashed in as a one-two punch. There’s low-level petty crime that’s happening to our community. We're being targeted as easy targets. But on a bigger scale, racist rhetoric from the pandemic has targeted us as being the reason for coronavirus. And so, Asians across the board have been targeted by racial slurs,being attacked, being pushed around, being spat on. And this is not getting attention on the national level. 4. We're angry and we had enough. And this is enough and we need to get together as a community but also ask members of the outside community to help us in this fight and help us with this crisis. We’re under attack and we need help. So thank you very much for being here today and thank you for supporting our cause.  我今天在这里的原因不是因为我是一个演员，不是因为我从好莱坞来开展一些工作。我来在这里的原因是，我成长于旧金山湾区。我出生于旧金山湾区。我在加州奥克兰（Head-Royce School）上学。我的姑姑在韦伯斯特街开了一家面包店，所以我对奥克兰唐人街非常了解。所以当我开始看到唐人街发生的这些犯罪行为时，我感到震惊。 我的父亲已经91岁了，想想这样的事情发生在我父亲身上，真是难以想象。看到这样的事情发生在我们社区成员的身上，唐人街居民的身上，这个社区亚洲人的身上，是骇人听闻的，这需要被谴责。 我们正受到双重打击。我们的社区里一直都在发生低级别的小型犯罪。我们被当作容易被攻击的目标，但规模变得更大了。疫情引发的种族主义言论指向我们，认为我们是冠状病毒的罪魁祸首。所以，所有的亚洲人都成了种族诋毁的目标，被攻击，被推搡，被人吐口水。而这并没有得到国家层面的重视。 我们很愤怒，我们受够了。够了，我们不仅需要作为一个社群团结在一起，也要争取外界社群帮助我们进行这场斗争，帮助我们解决这场危机。我们受到了攻击，我们需要帮助。所以非常感谢你们今天的到来，也感谢你们对我们事业的支持。
