1. First of all, I want to let you know, we are declaring a state of emergency for New York city. Just made that decision. I'm very worried about what is happening out on the roads. I want to urge everyone, get in quickly. Do not stay out on the roads. It is dangerous.
2. We are seeing a kind of rainfall we almost never see, this kind of speed with which the rain has come. Everyone has gotta get to safety. Do not be out on the roads if you have any choice. And the subways are also, I’m sad to say, basically out of commission at this point. Also, not safe to go there.
3. So, we are gonna have a tough few hours coming up till 1am/2am, till we get the rain out of here. People cannot take a chance with this amount of rain. So, we have our first responders out there responding to a lot of situations around the city. We’ve got over 5,000 homeowners without power. This is a hard hit we have taken from hurricane IDA.
