The Houston Rockets beat the Los Angeles Clippers 115-109 at the Toyota Center on Wednesday to level their Western Conference semi-final series at one game apiece.
James Harden scored 16 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter to help the Rockets with the win.
Houston Center Dwight Howard said Harden played a great game.
"He (James Harden) was ready to go. I mean he was amped up. We needed a game, a big game from him and he came out and did his thing. We had some tough shots but it was a tough win for us. They're a tough team and they never go away."
The Houston Rockets became the first team in league history to win a postseason game while missing 20 free throws.
Game 3 is Friday night in Los Angeles.
