In upcoming football action from the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada China will take on Netherlands in the second match of Group A on Thursday. While Netherlands have already earned three points after beating New Zealand in the opener, empty-handed China are eager to a win their remaining encounters in the group stage. 25-year-old midfielder, Gu Yasha, believes that the key to China's success against the Netherlands is a strong attacking game. "I think after the review of our last match, we should strengthen our attacks in the game against Netherlands. We hope that we can have some good cooperative attacks within our own style." Wang Lisi, whose curled a free-kick nearly put China in front around the 24 minute mark against Canada on Saturday, said the goal for the team now is to beat both Netherlands and the New Zealand. "A battle to live or to die? I don't think the match against the Netherlands should be described as that. But anyway, we hope that we can beat Netherlands and then win against New Zealand, that is our goal." With an average age of 23-and-a-half years-old, China will also face a young Holland team. In past head-to-head encounters, China has the advantage but Netherlands won the last clash in August 2011.
