Xiao Tian, deputy director of China's General Administration of Sport of the vice presidents of basketball's international governing body, is being investigated for alleged corruption.
China's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced via its official website on Thursday that Xiao is under investigation and is suspected of serious graft.

Xiao was elected as one of the Swiss-based FIBA's three vice presidents last September. The FIBA has yet to issue a statement on the matter.
