Beijing women's team have won their first title since 2009 after downing Wuhan 3-sets-to-1 in the finals of this year's Table Tennis Super League.
In the women's final, world number one Ding Ning sealed the victory for Beijing with a four set victory over 19-year-old Liu Gaoyang.
"It was really a tough game. It took hard work to win the match. But I did it with perseverance. But our victory was a team effort. Our fans are also part of our win. Without them, we couldn't get this far. "
On the men's side, the squad from Ningbo have walked away the champions following a narrow 3-2 victory over Bayi, the Chinese military team.
This is Ningbo's first title since 2009 and its fifth in league history.
