Chinese backfielder Zhang Chengdong has made his La Liga debut at Rayo Vallecano.
Zhang was called onto the field as an 82nd minute substitute in Rayo's 2-0 defeat by Atletico Madrid.
Zhang is the first Chinese player to play in Spain's top flight football league in a regular season game.
He has made the starting line-up twice for Rayo in this season's Copa del Rey.
Twenty-six-year-old Zhang joined the Madrid-based team on loan from Beijing Guo'an this past summer.

They continue to share the lead with Atletico Madrid on 38 points.
