The new season of the Chinese Super League will begin on the first weekend of March.
Guangzhou Evergrande, Jiangsu Suning, Shanghai SIPG and Shandong Luneng are likely to have their season-opening games moved ahead to accommodate their schedules for the AFC Champions League.
Four teams have expressed their wishes to host the opening ceremony for the 2016/17 season. They are Guangzhou Evergrande, Jiangsu Suning, Chongqing Lifan and newly-promoted Hebei China Fortune.
The season's full schedule is being finalized by the Chinese Football Association.
