U.S. B-52 bomber deployed in S. Korea in retaliation for DPRK's nuke test A U.S. B-52 bomber, capable of delivering a nuclear missile, has been deployed in South Korea. The long-range bomber departed from the U.S. Anderson base in Guam on Sunday morning. South Korea's Yonhap news agency reports that the bomber arrived and flied over South Korea's Osan air base at about noon. Air forces of South Korea and the United States made the joint announcement of the bombers arrival. The deployment came after North Korea said Wednesday it had successfully tested a hydrogen bomb. If confirmed, it would mark North Korea's first hydrogen bomb test and the fourth nuclear test in total. DPRK top leader says H-bomb test "self-defensive step", "legitimate right" North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has congratulated the country's military commanders on what he called a successful test of Pyongyang's first H-bomb. The official KCNA news agency quotes Kim as saying that the H-bomb test is the legitimate right of a sovereign state and a fair action that is above criticism. Kim made the remarks to military officers when visiting the Ministry of the country's People's Armed Forces. He stressed the need for the military to enhance offensive and defensive capabilities. The comments were the first by the top North Korea leader after the country's announcement on Wednesday that it has successfully carried out its first hydrogen bomb test, which would be its fourth nuclear test overall. Shanghai bourse caps share-holding reduction rate China's two main bourses have issued circulars to cap the share sell-off rate for large shareholders, in an effort to subdue the market's free fall. The new rules apply to major share holders with stakes at 5 percent or above of a listed company. Those share holders are forbidden from selling more than 1 percent of that company's share capital every three months through the stock exchange's centralist bidding system. The restriction was announced as stocks plummeted 7 percent half an hour into trading on Thursday, triggering a newly introduced circuit breaker. The China Securities Regulatory Commission has tightened control on short-term big share sales since last year by imposing fines on profiteering trading practices. Many statisticians believe that the odds to win the largest lottery prize in U.S. history were one in over 290 million. The last Powerball jackpot winner was in November when a ticket holder from Tennessee claimed over 144 million dollars. The previous record North American lottery jackpot payout was in March 2012, when 656 million dollars was won in a Mega Millions draw. The last one was elected in 2011, after the ouster of former leader Hosni Mubarak. A court order dissolved it in 2012. The new parliament is considered the third and final phase of Egypt's three-step roadmap to democracy. The plan was announced by the military in 2013, after the ouster of former President Mohamed Morsi. All bills issued by the president now must be reviewed and approved by the nearly 600-seat legislative body.
