China's automaker SAIC Maxus has officially supplied 260 vehicles to the Irish Post Office, An Post.
Maxus is the first Chinese automaker to win a deal with a European Union governmental institution.
The LDV V80 vans will be used for logistics and courier services.
World famous auto brands including Toyota and Ford have also bid for the deal earlier.
With the deal, the company will further penetrate into the European market.
This April will also see 3 thousand of its cars going to the British market, with others being shipped to Germany and the Netherlands.
Maxus' vehicles have been already welcomed by a number of developed markets like Australia and New Zealand.
