Also celebrities including Alan Cumming, Tracee Ellis Ross and Gwen Stefani will make cameos in the new season.
HBO announced on last November, that it has the rights to air the next five seasons of the program, and will expand the shows' footprint and amount of programming.
Fans accustomed to watching it on PBS since 1969 won't feel any disappointment.
As part of the deal, the show's older episodes will be re-edited in new ways and continue to air on the public television.
New episodes will first appear on HBO, and then be provided to PBS after nine months.
'Sesame Street' has taught preschoolers for decades about numbers, letters, emotional development and the joys of a rubber duckie.
