The iconic and beloved children's show 'Sesame Street' has aired for the first time on HBO on Saturday.
Marking the program's 46th season, a new set and feel have been brought in this children' classic.
ABC News reports "Big Bird has a brand new nest, Abby Cadabby has a new community garden and Elmo has moved into a brownstone".
Also celebrities including Alan Cumming, Tracee Ellis Ross and Gwen Stefani will make cameos in the new season.
HBO announced on last November, that it has the rights to air the next five seasons of the program, and will expand the shows' footprint and amount of programming.
Fans accustomed to watching it on PBS since 1969 won't feel any disappointment.
As part of the deal, the show's older episodes will be re-edited in new ways and continue to air on the public television.
New episodes will first appear on HBO, and then be provided to PBS after nine months.
'Sesame Street' has taught preschoolers for decades about numbers, letters, emotional development and the joys of a rubber duckie.
