Chinese 3D film "The Monkey King 2" has just hit the big screens in major German cities.
The story, like its first edition, is also adapted from "Journey to the West," one of China's four literary classics.
The story of the monkey king escorting his master, the Buddhist monk Xuan Zang, to the West to acquire Buddhist scriptures in spite of many difficulties is known to the world.
Many audiences in the cinema say they are impressed by the story as well as the special effects.
"I like it very much. And I think it is the most famous Chinese fairy tale. Now we can watch the movie in 3D, I love it."
"I like it very much because it is the combination of creativity and ancient tradition. I'm surprised to watch the movie, actually it is an ancient fairy tale and showed in high-tech ways. Both the special effects and the cast of the movie are pretty good."
The film will be shown in China next Monday, the first day of the Chinese lunar New Year, the year of the monkey.
