Manchester City has advanced into the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League after their match against Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.
The Man city won with an aggregate of 3-1 following a draw of 0-0.
Despite winning, the result of the game would be bitter sweet after player Vincent Kompany sustained a calf injury.
According to Man City's Manager, Manuel Pellegrini, it looks like Kompany will need the better part of a month to heal.
After the game Pellegrini would also talk about the English Club's recent success.
"I think when as a team you have a new achievement it's always important for your trust. It's not easy. We had this season a very difficult group with the three of the best leagues of Europe with Sevilla, Juventus and Borussia Monchengladbach. We won the group so I think that in this season we are.. I don't know if the word is better prepared but with more experience to arrive at this stage. I hope that we can continue further."
This is the first time the EPL team has made it this far.
Up next for them will be a match against Manchester United on Sunday.
