Guangzhou Evergrande are in Japan for survival against Urawa Red Diamonds in the AFC Champions League.
The defending champions opened to a shock two points from the last three games and are bottom of Group H.
Elimination is a serious threat if they don't win all three remaining games.
The other Chinese team, Shangdong Luneng are in the South Korean capital for FC Seoul.
They are in a much better position at second place in Group F behind Seoul.
However the Chinese side were humiliated 4-1 at home in their last encounter and are still recovering from the domestic league loss.
