Li was caught taking drugs at his temporary residence in Sanlitun, Chaoyang District. Since Monday night, Beijing police has arrested eight suspects involved in drug trafficking and drug-taking, including the upstart singer. Police say urine samples of the eight suspects all tested positive for amphetamines, and they admitted to their illegal drug use. 25-year-old Li comes from northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. He was in the first season of "The Voice of China", a singing competition that Zhejiang Satellite TV aired in July 2012.
