本周二苹果公司承认,好莱坞女性照片泄露是由于黑客精准的攻击了它的服务,但是苹果仍然拒绝承认公司的云服务和"查找我的iPhone"功能被黑客攻陷。
Apple on Tuesday admitted that the accounts of celebrities that appear in nude photos, which leaked online over the weekend, were hacked through "a very targeted attack" on its services. However, the U.S. tech giant says that neither its iCloud nor "Find My iPhone" services were breached.
In a statement, Apple said that the attack on the numerous celebrity accounts targeted user names, passwords and security questions.
The company said that, after it learned of the theft, engineers were mobilized to investigate the source. Apple added that it is working with law enforcement to find those responsible for the hack.
Over the weekend, intimate photos of celebrities Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Ariana Grande, Kirsten Dunst and as many as 100 others leaked onto the internet. The photos evidently were stolen through personal Apple accounts, according to Variety.
The FBI is also investigating the case.
