Shanghai Animation Film Studio and Giant Interactive said yesterday they will develop a mobile game based on "Black Cat Detective," who turned 30 this year. The China-developed games, based on legends like "Journey to the West" and swordsmanship, have accounted for a major part of the domestic game market whose revenue jumped 38 percent to 83.2 billion yuan (US$13.6 billion), according to International Data Corp, a US-based research firm.
