中国女子网球选手李娜今天上午11点左右在自己的微博上发布自己的退役告别信，从此告别网坛。 China's top seed female tennis player has just annouced her retirement on her microblog. Li Na, who had been the world number-2 after winning the Australian Open earlier this year, has now slipped down the world rankings to 6th after being unable to compete for the last couple of months. The 32-year old has been dogged by injuries for the last few years, including a recurring knee problem. She had hoped to compete at both the forthcoming Wuhan and Beijing Open tournaments. But reports are suggesting her recovery from her knee problems haven't progressed well enough. Li Na shot to international fame when she won the 2011 French Open, becoming the first Asian national to win a Grand Slam singles title. She has become a poster girl for the WTA, which has made a concerted push into Asia with several new tournaments including Li Na's home town of Wuhan.
