Newman(I Love) is the embodiment of everything that has happened up to this point: A life full of experiences, various human relationships, successes and failures, and most of all, a life led by emotions. As a result his sound is a mirror of his journey: It is emotive, complex, layered, introspective and mature.
Few things in life are more satisfying to us than finding a new duo and fall in love with their music. That was exactly what happened to us with DOMA from Argentina. Pablo Cetrini and Elvis Albarello have worked under their DOMA moniker since 2015 and made releases on Tenampa Recordings, Bullfinch Records and Rules Music. This has caught the attention and support from industry heavyweights like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Nick Muir and Dave Seaman.
This is their new Jungle EP on What Happens featuring 3 percussion driven tracks placed in the region of deep, melodic and progressive house. All tried and tested to perfection.
Tel Aviv based Guy Mantzur specializes in creating electronic music that defies over- simple genre classification. Drawing influences from Tech House, Techno and proper Progressive House, he creates his own distinctive musical template that has seen him establish himself as a top DJ/Producer worldwide. He is instantly recognisable through his unique hypnotic melodies and seductive grooves, both in his productions and his DJ sets. 2013 Recognized as a leading light in the ever-growing Tel Aviv underground music scene, Residency at the city’s most popular club - The Cat & The DogWon Guy the Title “Israel’s Best Underground DJ 2013” XL Awards. His releases on labels such as kompakt, Diynamic, Systematic, Bedrock, Sudbeat, Lost & Found always turn heads and gain him new fans. In addition to his studio talents, Guy is also the co-owner and A&R for the Munich-based label Plattenbank, alongside Yaniv Tal, which provides another outlet for his musical creations.
Progressive House maestro Sasha is back on his respected label Last Night On Earth with a new single, ‘Ripcord’, his first solo track since last year’s ‘Smoke Monk’. This follows a great series of remixes and collaborative tracks, such as his remix of SYML ‘The Bird’ and his behemoth collab with Kölsch. The British legend opted for a dark, driving take on this new one: the drums-cymbals game is ‘Ripcord’s strong suit, as it gives the track a fast and relentless shape, with eclectic synths and gloomy FXs creating a unique, unreal atmosphere.‘Ripcord’ is signature Sasha, deceptively simple yet full of subtle hooks and surprises. A compelling, driving dance track, but also an intriguing listen alone with your earbuds immersed in Sasha’s world.
Our French brother Rafael Cerato returns to Eleatics with the smashing 'Further' release with the beauteous leading voice of Liu Bei.
The title track is the emotional and contemporaneously lyric grounded song, which will find it's place for peak time moments.
German duo Hidden Empire (Stil Vor Talent, Octopus, Senso Sounds) are rolling out the original through the hypnotic extent of harmonies and Liu's voice. 'Elixir' starts with the firm bass of Rafael: progressive shaded, but while groove filled at the same time. Arpeggios including 'Nuclea' is closing the pack, forming another great release by Rafael on our list, so be sure to get your attention on it. We set no boundaries and will never do.
