Quan Ju De was established in 1864 during the Qing Dynasty. They are famous for their Beijing Roast Duck prepared by using open ovens and non-smoky hardwood fuel such as Chinese dates, peaches and pears to add a subtle fruity flavor with a crispy golden skin. Today, the franchise has over 8 locations here in Beijing and has expanded to Hong Kong and Australia. In addition, they're currently testing their 'All you can eat Roast duck' option in their Beijing restaurants. So in this week's 'Hangout', Simone Cote takes us to the Shuanjing branch of Quan Ju De to try our their 'Easy Style' service of their specialty Beijing Duck.
