介绍:
Starring Irish actor Liam Neeson as a vengeance-seeking retired CIA operative with "a very particular set of skills", Taken 3 takes the crown from the fantasy epic Hobbit at the box office, earning more than 40 million US dollars in its opening weekend. When "Taken," a film about a former CIA operative who tracks down his daughter's kidnappers after she's been kidnapped, was first released in 2008, it starred Liam Neeson, Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace. Neeson said they knew the film was good but they didn't know it would be so well-received. "I knew we had made a tight, solid, fast-paced, little European thriller, you know? We were all surprised the life that it had. 20th Century Fox did an amazing PR job with the film in this country especially and helped to make it a success, you know? And we were all surprised. Especially myself." However, instead of following the franchise's formula with Neeson's character Bryan saving someone who has been kidnapped, the plot of the third installment has been changed. "Bryan Mills the guy I play is in the previous two films he was the hunter and this one he's very much the hunted." Maggie Grace, who plays Neeson's daughter in the films, believed he is the reason why the films are so successful. "At the core we have an actor's actor. You know we have Oskar Schindler. We have somebody with a real sense of gravitas and humanity and pain and it feels like his decisions cost him at times and he is at a moral crux sometimes but he really is fighting for the person that he loves the most." The third "Taken" movie is supposed to be the last one in this franchise. Neeson, however, said you never know what's going to happen. "If audiences still want to see these characters then the audience should get what they want." For Studio Plus, this is Liu Xiangwei.
