Twenty-six year old William Wang Siyuan, who started to receive music training at 13 years old and rose up to fame through the Chinese TV show "Sing My Song", has recently released his new album Back Again or Zai Ci Ben Xiang Ni.(再次奔向你)
The new album, composed of a total of eight songs, is seen to vary in different styles from campus ballads, "English rock" style to J-pop and K-pop. Wang Siyuan said he also worked as producer of Back Again.
"This album marks the years from college graduation to my participation in the "Sing My Song" competition. More time would be consumed before I could find a proper producer for my new album. I don't want to keep my fans waiting too long."
The album collects the songs he wrote as early as in 2008 to his newest work created just this year.
"Sing My Song", or Zhong-Guo-Hao-Ge-Qu(中国好歌曲)is a Chinese TV show, similar to "American Idol", the only difference is that the candidates compete not only by their singing skills, but more importantly, their ability to write songs.
