1.What are the difficulties that young managers usually face?
Understand they have rights and responsibilities as well as a title.
Sometimes being alone and having to take difficult decisions.
Making decisions for the whole team rather for your own interests.
2.It is probably the first time for young managers to lead a team of people. What tips do you have for dealing with the relationships with their new 'subordinates'?
Listen to them
Trust them
Support them
Don't be threatened by them
Realise that hiring people better than you is the true mark of success, and paradoxically will boost your career.
3.As manager, you are taking more responsibilities and part of the responsibilities are delivering tough news to the team. Any skills when need to do that?
Be honest with people.
Be kind to people.
Communicate appropriately with all concerned.
4.What are the mistakes that young managers are usually making? How to avoid this?
Be eager to over promote himself/herself
Complain to subordinates about the company
Not a guide to subordinates but does everything himself/herself, or a lack of ability (or know-how) to delegate.
