Tonight marks the beginning of my new trilogy program on Point Of Departure: Drums Unlimited - A tribute to the great free jazz drummers and percussionists. Chapter One: United States. Nothing else really needs to be said, when your favorite musician had stated it all:
"Drums have warm emotions. Drums can suggest moods. You can tell stories with them. When you use different volume control, different accents or in other words - if you sing with the drums, then you really get it to happen. It comes out like you hear it, and that's what I try to do."
