What do we respect ? Suffering itself or the spirit of trying to live in suffering?
I once said to my friends, "I think those who are homeless are really amazing. "But they all say it's condescending, it's humblebrag.
Finally let me make a summary. What I admire is not suffering, not wandering, not hardships , but not give up, not despair, adhere to self in despair, endeavor, and the ability to love life after experiencing hardships .
Respect is not a bad thing, but you should distinguish whether it is forced or self-choice. For example, a personal choice when the ascetic or abstinent days, it is self-choice and self-restraint, and thus admirable. But for people who had to struggle to survive life, their suffering is not their choice, but by life fate imposing on them.
Then we had a discussion.
