Like, for example, buying a really luxurious car can give you a lot of excitement at first, but after like a year or so, would you still be so thrilled about having this car? No, you would probably just treat it like an ordinary tool for commuting purposes. If you want to pursue long-term happiness, then your best bet would be forming good relationships with the close ones around you, as many psychology studies have shown, because it is love and friendship that can give us mental satisfaction over a long period of time.
