Not necessarily, but to an extent, yes. I do agree that being a brilliant liar requires a good memory, but most of us are horrible liars. I once read from some research that on average, each single person tells three lies per day, so that makes pretty much everybody a liar. But obviously not every single one of us has a good memory. Most of us tell a lie and then forget about it, like, two seconds later. But yes, in order to be a really good liar, you need to remember everything you had previously said in order to not give away any hints that might expose your past lies. So yes, unless you have a really good memory, it’s best advised that you do not tell any lies and just stick with the honesty policy.
