Let’s take a look at some of the ferries from the city of Seattle. Many people take a ferry every day. A ferry is a boat or ship that moves people and cars across water. People and cars wait for the ferry. When it arrives, cars drive onto the boat. People walk on. Cars and trucks park on the bottom level of the ferry. People do not have to sit in their cars. They can go up to the top level of the ferry. There are big windows and seats there. People can look out the windows and watch the scenery. People can read or work on the ferry as it goes across the water. Traveling on a ferry is fun for many people. They can enjoy the clean air and view. Sometimes people can get great photos of a harbor city from a ferry. When the ferry arrives, the people and cars get off. Some cities use ferry to help people come and go to their jobs.
