【奥斯卡.新闻播报】Video shows Eastern Star 30 minutes before disaster

Surveillance video has emerged showing the Eastern Star ship about half an hour before it capsized in the Yangtze River Monday night with 458 people on board. The video was filmed from a cargo ship sailing downstream on the river, in an opposite direction to the Eastern Star. The video was filmed at 8:52 p.m. Monday. The two boats were about 100 meters from each other. The video shows the lights on the top decks of the Eastern Star and lightning flashes in the background. Heavy rain can also be clearly seen in the footage.
