One man is blind in one eye with a deep scar across his forehead. The scar-face has on a torn-up cap that is loose enough to cover part of the scar. His pants are rolled up above his mud-covered boots, revealing stout leg muscles covered with cuts and bruises.
The other guy is a handicapped man in a wheelchair. He is short and round, wearing a thick belt around his belly, which has a leather purse attached to it. Compared with the scar-face, the round guy is more talkative.
On their table, there are bottles of imported liquor. A cook stove made of cement and black bricks is placed next to the table with burning coals, and the flame heats up a pot of stew with a strong lamb flvour.
The round guy talks while the scar-face shaves his masculine chin with a rusty blade and nods his stiff head occasionally.
As we listen, I dip my finger in my juice cup and write a word on the table surface, “GOLD”.
It is about gold, and it is about treasure hunting!
The round man talks about a message in a drifting bottle, buried gold in a deep cave and a turtle-shaped island. He keeps talking.
Wait a second! I suddenly remember the moving island, Rocca, on the hidden map from book “1031”. Does it also have a turtle-like shape? At that point, Frosty touches my elbow and looks me in the eye. I kind of know what she is trying to say.
The round man takes a deep sip of his champagne. Showing a painful expression on his wrinkled face, he stops talking…
