Clasping the sword and a wooden suitcase in his hands, Joe walked around a puddle and stepped in. The air circulation inside the cave was pretty bad. In addition, the complete darkness gave him no advantage. Joe could feel broken bone chips on the ground. He could also see white sparkles of glowing platinum jewels as he got near to the end of the cave. “Kill the cave monster! ” Coco had emphasized her words during their talk, and the words was ringing again in Joe’s ears. Holding the sword, Joe tried to keep a low, balanced posture. Hiding behind a stone column, the monster recognized the sword that had made him bleed before. The monster was trembling with fear. The sword sensed a smell, the familiar taste of blood from the monster. The sword was looking…and it jumped out of Joe’s hand, thrusting its blade into the monster’s body. The halved cave monster roared before dying.
