The mind of a lotus
A poem By Xi Murong
I, a lotus flower blooming in summer,
Yearn that you can see what I'm now.
Not yet am I eroded by wind and frost,
And nor yet beaten by dripping autumn rain.
Sentimental season has far away departed me,
I'm elegant and slender, no worry nor fear.
It's right now
The most beautiful moment of my life.
But doors are securely locked.
Behind my sweet smile,
Who knows the mind of a lotus flower.
Ah, you, doomed no chance,
Come to me either too early,
Or too late ...
