Since, my dear, you have come home, Why should peace I not find? Wind and rain the endless patter, The rooster cries a far-heard crow. Since, my dear, you have come home, The wounds of my heart your presence will sew. Wind and rain so thick and damp, The rooster never stops its voice. Since, my dear, you've come back home, Why should not my heart rejoice?!
