昔人已乘黄鹤去，此地空余黄鹤楼。
黄鹤一去不复返，白云千载空悠悠。
晴川历历汉阳树，芳草萋萋鹦鹉洲。
日暮乡关何处是，烟波江上使人愁。
英译（阿九）：
Many years ago, a man flew to athanasia on a yellow crane,
Since then desolate the Yellow Crane Tower has remained.
The legendary bird has not yet returned to the tower so high,
The clouds lingered for a thousand years, waiting in vain.
The river sparkles with sun, so clear I see trees in Han Yang over yonder,
Luxuriantly thrived the grass on the Parrot Islet.
Dusk falls and the mist thickens, my hometown I cannot reach,
Fog hangs over the river, as I am engulfed in nostalgic melancholy.
