青青园中葵，朝露待日晞。
阳春布德泽，万物生光辉。
常恐秋节至，焜黄华叶衰。
百川东到海，何时复西归？
少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲！
Lush velvetleaf fills the garden,
Covered in dew awaiting the sun’s caress.
Sustenance spread by sunshine ablaze,
Bringing life to all under its glowing gaze.
I often dread the arrival of autumn chill,
That tosses down those brilliant golden leaves at will.
Every river runs east to join the sea,
Yet would it ever return westerly?
Should youth be squandered in vain,
They of weathered age will know regret's pain.
