B: Today our guest is a freshmen, who will share her travelling experience and thought with us. Welcome~ C: hello~ I am Coco from BE Class 4 …. I travelled to HK this summer vacation, which fascinate me a lot. So I’d love to introduce this city to U. B: so our topic today is HK impression in Coco’s eyes. as we all know, HK has become one of the most popular tourist destinations for mainland citizens recent years. Speaking of HK, some words may flash in our mind, such like shopping paradise, delicious foods, HK movies, British colony and so on. So why do u choose to go to HK at first? C: You know, like most girls, shopping is one of my favorite things. I have longed for shopping in HK. As treating to my hard work for college entrance exam, my mother finally agree to go on a shopping spree in HK. The variety and quality of goods there seem to be both better than in mainland, and more importantly, they are at a lower price. It happened to be the day on which the gold price break its lowest record in 5 years when I shopped in HK. There are a lot of people rushed and crowded to buy it. I bought a pair of shoes at a half discount price and my mother bought piles of quality-assured medicine to store in our family. As a free trade port where international brands all be stationed in, HK owns a mature shopping industry compose of impeccable service and comfortable environment. The shopping assistants will introduce the products to you with a warming smile and their gentle voice make your shopping experience a breeze. B: It seems like that you really have a pleasant shopping experience in HK. C: Yep~ and I just come up with another reason why I choose to travel in HK. B: So what is that? C: The HK movies! Known as Oriental Hollywood, HK enjoys a long history of movie industry. In 1895 the first film Exiting the Factory was put on the big screen by Brother Louis , the second year, the assistant of Louis come to HK to introduce the new stuff in HK. Nowadays, when we mention HK movies, we may think of Stephan Chou’s comedies and Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu movies. It is very popular through decades. However, with the continuous development of HK films, a new wave is on the rise. The young generation of HK film maker paid more attention to individual’s living condition and emotional struggle, some reflecting it in comedy way. For example the my favorite film Human Comedy(人间喜剧), telling a story between a bedraggled killer and a sentimental writer. I highly recommend this film! B: Can’t wait to see this film! Also, I think the gangster movies from HK is featured like I Want to Be You(无间道). Now let’s get back to our topic~Where did you go in HK? Do you have any suggestion for us to travel in HK? C: yeah, HK is a really beautiful place. In the early dawn, you can go to the Victoria peals and wait for sunrise, after that, you can go to the Star Avenue to find your idol’s fingerprint. In the afternoon, bring your childishness to the Disneyland, where you can find all your favorite Disney cartoon characters. At night, you can sit on the cruise, enjoy the beautiful night view of Victoria Harbor. (B: that sounds great~) But for me, the Disney Land is the most impressive one. At the first sight of Disneyland, there is a big Mickey sculpture float on the fountain pool. After entering the gate, I walked along the fantastic American style street, on both sides of which there are souvenir shop. This summer Disney opened a new theme park Summer Snowy Festival. Since it seldom snows in HK, the theme park create a simulation scene for characters like Elsa, Anna in the Frozen. B: Is there also Olaf? (C: Yes there is !) aha, Disneyland is always a lovely place for children and those adults who arms the romance of childhood. Since our time is limited, are there any other point you want to share with us about HK? C: It must be the clean street and decent manner. I think HK’s unique culture embodies in details. It was rainy when I stayed in HK. Although the street is wet, it’s so clean that our shoes and pants were still the same white! And when we queued to order the menu, everyone was wait patiently, no queue jumper and no loud speaker! From my perspective HK citizens cultural quality is really high. If possible, you must to experience the atmosphere in person. B: I will definitely pay a visit to HK after this interview! Thanks for your sharing a lot!
