Hey, do you know what special day this Monday was?
L:Of course, it's Halloween
K:Yeah.Halloween is in November 1st every year and it is a traditional festival of English-speaking world, mainly popular in north America, British isles, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Many public places and even the home yard will be laid out with a lot of decoration, such as a various type of ghost pumpkin light, black cat and witch's groom. Children will wear Halloween costumes, carrying a lantern to go from door to door and say "trick or treat" to ask for candy.
L:Oh ,I love candies!
K:So let's talk about some fantastic candy stores in the world.
L: ①Dylan's Candy Bar
Accounted for three floors, the amazing candy store was opened in 2001 by the Candy Queen,Dylan Lauren. It looks just like Willy Wonka' s chocolate factory: a colourful lollipop tree near the entrance, the goods shelves that in the shape of flooding chocolate, iridescent Macaroons on the shelf, and glass jars fully filled with doughnuts and Oreo crumbs. It is like a sweet museum with incredible imagination. The charming candies and the bright colours absorb children and even adults in it, so many people regard it as the "Sweet Heaven"

K:②Candy Room
Located in Melbourne, Australia, it is like the world in a girl's comic book. The wall, floor and display cabinets are all with the colour of pure white; Some black lines sketch the contours of items and are combined into decorative pictures.
The black-and-white style highlights the colourful candies, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The designer said he would like to give a different feeling to the guests, immerse themselves in the world of candy and arouse their childlike innocence.

K:③Candylawa
Described as one of the largest candy stores in the world, Candylawa, opened recently in the Panorama mall Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Pronounced candy lover, this veritable jawbreaker of an undertaking was three years in the making and is a testament to the creativiting and determination of the design team at Redesign Group, New Zealand.
The store has been cleverly zoned over two levels to ensure maximum customer interaction and satisfaction with threats from handmade candies and milkshakes, to marshmallows and popcorn. The upper level takes you through a wonderland of different areas. The pick&mix is where you can fill your tin with jelly bellies, travel through the Wonka walk to find your favourite chocolate, visit the creation room to create your own artwork.
In these glamorous and well-ordered surroundings, the vast range of sweet treats and gourmet delights on offer appear even more enticing. Candylawa is set for a full speed sugar-rush to the stars in this superbly designed new store, the first of many to come.

L:④Sugarfina
An upmarket candy store in California is called the Tiffany in the candy world, not only because of the delicate and bright blue packing boxes, but also their sweets can heal the Tiffany can do.
The founder of the Sugarfine, Rosie O' Neill and Josh Resnick was a pair of ordinary lovers, but everything began to change since their third date, because they went to see the film Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. This creative couple thought: Why there isn't any candy shop just for adults? So they decide to open a sweets factory for adults which consist of jelly drops, licorice sticks, marshmallow and so on.
Then, Sugarfina burst with popularity immediately. Their candies are from all over the world and many of them suit the adults' taste very much, such as champagne gum, espresso coffee taffy, wormwood sugar, pure malt scotch chocolate, etcetera.
When you walk into the store, you will find a dreamlike feeling of being in a Tiffany candy zone. The whole shop is in a white country style, and seeing the colourful chocolate and panocha in crystal boxes together with a touch of Tiffany blue, you just don't want to leave this place.

K:⑤Happy Pills
It's obviously known to us that when we have a headache, we need to take anodyne, while hypnagogue is needed when we find it hard to fall asleep. But what should we take when feeling upset? A candy store may give you the answer.
A small shop named Happy Pills is caught in a small gap on a busy street in Barcelona. They use a red cross as the logo to tell the world that they are selling pills to make people happy. As a matter of fact, it's a candy store and all kinds of sweets are jammed into glass bottles that make them look as if they are ordinary medicine. Exactly, as is verified by scientists that sweet food can cheer up those who are dejected or down. So just like it's name, it is a kind of happy pills. There is no doctor, nurse or even shop assistant in the shop so that you can buy what you want freely and "Cure it yourself".

Though famous for it's waffles, you can't miss the candy in this old fashion store. The boutique is located in an 18th century building and was interiorly decorated by architect Cesar in 1893. There is luxuriant gilded woodcarving and a splendid tearoom in it. Rumor had it that President de Gaulle was a big fan of the dessert here, so anyway, it is worth a visit.
