On February 27th, right on Chinese New Year’s Eve, South Korea made an announcement that a consultation between South Korea and the US, of which the main content was to deploy THAAD on the Korean Peninsula (朝鲜半岛). Maybe you are still confused about what THAAD is. THAAD is an antimissile system, belonging to Missile Defense Angency (MDA) and United States Army （美国导弹防御局和美国陆军）.
