The program you are listening is the Amazing Ones. Here is your old friend Nas speaking. It’s really cold outside, but the recording room is very warm. Today, we have two guests here, let’s welcome! R: Hello my name is Rohan, an anchor from News Scan, and this is my second show-up in TAO’s programme. Nice to see you guys again! D:Hello everyone, I’m Daisy from English Classroom, it’s been a long time since I came TAO’s about one year ago. Nice to see you~ N: Warmly welcome! And before we start our topic, here comes the traditional question in our program: What is the most amazing thing you have ever done? Em, Rohan? R: I joined an interview this week and in the second round we are requested to find 20 foreigners and then get, in any way you may want, their wechat accounts. We successfully accomplished the mission of course, but the process is quite interesting. We were invited to a Pakistan dormitory and were offered a cup of tea! It’s such an amazing experience! N: Yeah, I saw your pictures posted in the QQ zone, it was a really interesting night, right? So could you share to the audience that what’s the conversation between you and the Pakistan friends about? R:..~ D: Interesting, my roommate experienced a similar interview, she was asked to make money in the Optics Valley with nothing at hand, even the mobile phone is not allowed, which is really a challenge. For me the most amazing thing is …maybe going out alone during the examination week at late night, it seems so dangerous through. When I was tortured by , I remembered, social phychology, and I thought, I can’t stand this, it drives me crazy! I need to relax! Then I grabbed a bike as soon as I could, heading for the fashion city. Seldom people were on the street, and the night scene in the fashion city is gorgeous, you could feel the freeze and freedom on the bike, so thrilled, but I didn’t stay there for too long, by the time I went back home, it was 12 o’clock. N: Well as for me, I have to update my new amazing experience! The day before yesterday, I went to 街道口, and get my ears pierced! I know it seems nothing to most girls, but as for me, who cannot bear any kind of pain, even the mild one, when waiting for the piercing operation, I already freaked out. But, you know, girls, can do anything to chase after the beauty. And I nail it! 2. The Beautiful Landscape in HuaNong N: Rohan, I know, this is the first year you spend in Huanong, and how did you feel when you first stepped into our campus? R: Can I say big? In fact, I taxied to our university for the first time. I told the driver to drop us at front gate when we were at north gate. If you don’t try it once yourself, I would never have any idea about how big the university is! Nevertheless, there do is gorgeous landscape. Pine tree, for instance, is slightly different in the way they change colour in the fall, which is light suntan, to be exact, and they just painted a fabulous paysage everywhere in Huanong. N: Oh really? I think I didn’t come across the pine trees around our campus, where are they exactly? It might be one of the best places for couples to date or for those who want to start a relationship but too nervous to speak out, it’s romantic, I think. Besides the suntan pine trees, the peaceful gingko trees along the alleyway is amazing, too. Especially in the late autumn, on your way to class, on your way to the canteen, the golden gingko trees accompanied you the whole way, I think it’s really relaxing. And you know there is a huge gingko tree beside the old library, that is the museum now. Me and my boyfriend had took a lot of photos there, it’s pretty romantic. ...Another charming scene in Huanong is the Cherry Blossom. I know in Wuhan, the title of the most popular and beautiful cherry blossom scenic spot probably belongs to Wuhan University. But, I think our Huanong is no less than that. We also have the cherry blossom path, moreover, we can jog along while enjoying the pinky flowers and light fragrance. We don’t need to share the beautiful scene with so many visitors! D: Beautiful scenes deserve to go further. I found a bunch of peach trees on our lion mountain when we jogged around the school. I strongly recommend you go there in March or April, you will find yourself be surrounded by pink peach blossoms and mild fragrance. Another amazing place is close to our daily life, the sky in huanong is fantastic! Whenever I look up to see the sky, I will always be amazed by it, the color, the cloud…it’s so fascinating. And I don’t think camera can interpret the beauty of it, you need to view it on your own eyes. In the early morning the sky was crystal blue with a little bit yellow in the bottom, while in the afternoon it will turn to red and purple. Next time you run around the south lake, don’t forget to look up! The shadow of the trees and the colorful sky compose the best scenery! 3. New Changes happen in Hua Nong N: ...Do you ever hear about the folk names of the dormitory building in our campus? Like, the Hui Yuan sixteenth building is the Princess Building, which stands in the central part of CBD in campus. And I live in the Hui Yuan second dormitory building, personally speaking, I think it lies in the remote countryside. But, I have never imagined that a new store, 7tt, opened right beside our dormitory! Just like the slave turned over to be the master! And you know, since it opened these days, I spent more money than the day before! I feel like, I don’t really need something, but just wanna go there and shop! R & D make some comments? R: Well, I mentioned there is a new convenience store, Lawson, opened up these days. The very first time that I saw the brand is in Japan. “Terrific!” I envisaged back then and I walked in. Seriously? Yet small? But, ahhh, so to speak, it’s one of the good changes after all. N: You’re right. In addition, there will be a KFC, too. I’m really looking forward to it. It seems that once the KFC opens, our campus will upgrade to the brand new level! D: So admire you! I live in the Hui Yuan fourteenth dormitory building, way at the other end of our school. At first I was really glad about being so near to TaoYuan canteen and the fourth teaching building, but now I feel like living in an isolated island, far from 7tt, Lawson and upcoming KFC. Anyway, still thanks to the long distance, it prevents me from spending more after double eleven. N: And you know, the Bo Yuan dormitory buildings used to be aged, worn-out. When someone says he or she live in Bo Yuan, we probably feel sorry for him or her. But after a period of renovation and update, Bo Yuan are totally different now! R: Things change, don’t they? D: Yes, in summer holiday our school renewed many dormitories, including huiyuan fourteenth. A tidy environment is good for our moods and development, I’m so glad that our school is willing to listen what we think and tackle the problems in a proper way.
