解析：1. this 表示“这个”， 距离自己比较近，并且只有“一个”物品。That表示“那个”，距离自己比较远， 并且只有“一个”物品。2. It’s a big fish. =The fish is big.
2.Is it a spider?
Yes, it is./ No, it isn't.
解析：Is it...? 它是...吗？ Eg. Is it an iguana? Is it a hippo? Is it a snake?
扩充学习：Is he...? 他是...吗？ Is he a teacher? Is he Peter? Is he a dentist? 回答：Yes, he is. No, he isn’t. 如果是女孩就问Is she...? Is she a singer? Is she Fiona? :P
3.The rabbit is bigger. The spider is smaller.
The dog is the biggest. The lizard is the smallest.
解析：bigger “两”个或“三”物体比较，“较”大的
the biggest “三”个或三个以上物体比较，“最”大的。如果只有2个物体，我们就不能用the biggest表示“最”哦。
易错点：最高级一定要加the，很多学生容易漏了。eg. the biggest/the smallest/the tallest/ the shortest
比较级则不需要加the eg. Bigger/smaller/taller/shorter
4.Which animal do you like better?
I like … better.
I like my dog. It has short legs.
I like my cat. It has big eyes.
I like my rabbits. They have long ears.
5.What time do you walk your dog?
I walk the dog in the morning.
When do you usually feed your fish?
I feed the fish in the evening.
解析：What time和When都是问时间的疑问词。
Eg.What time do you get up? = When do you get up?
What time do you read English?=When do you read English?
What time do you take a bath? = When do you take a bath?
但是问现在是几点就只能问What time is it? 不能说 When is it?
